Welcome to the Upper Saranac Lake Yacht Club
This site is geared to reach all corners and generations of the lake. It is a virtual Yacht Club, so there is no physical space. Rather, the purpose is to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas, events, and schedules online. Hopefully, this will serve as a way for lake residents to stay connected and active. We want to continue the tradition of leadership and persistence that has defined the lake community for years. You can start out by checking out the History and How the Site Works section, but the majority of the features are reserved for members only. Please sign up and take part in USLYC!
A quick note with regard to security: We are well aware of the dangers that the information age possesses. In fact, this site was constructed around the premise of security. By contracting and building our own community space, instead of using another forum like facebook or my community, we have ensured that all of the information on the site will stay in house. Furthermore, we will not activate a member until we have confirmed his or her positive affiliation with the lake community. We will do this personally, using the information provided during sign up. This being the case, please allow us a couple of days to process your registration.
